What is the Universal Journal in SAP S/4HANA?
The Universal Journal (table ACDOCA) stores financial accounting, controlling, asset accounting and material ledger line items in one place. It removes reconciliation between FI and CO and enables real-time reporting.
I already know SAP FICO on ECC. Do I need this course?
If your experience is only on ECC, yes. Most new projects are S/4HANA, and interviewers expect you to know the Universal Journal, new Asset Accounting, Business Partner and margin analysis.
Is this course suitable for complete beginners?
No. It assumes finance and SAP FI/CO basics. Beginners should start with our SAP FICO course, which already teaches on S/4HANA.
